Professional Services

Sun Hill is experienced, qualified and certified to fly drones in a wide range of environments

Civil Aviation Authority Accedited

Sun Hill’s experienced and qualified drone pilots maintain all the required insurances, Civil Aviation Authority permissions, RAMS and CSCS cards.

Change and Comparisons

Our team of drone professionals capture high resolution drone images to generate a point cloud model over several site visits. Each visit can be compared to establish the degree of progress made on site and accurate measurements, including volumes, can be assessed.

Reduced Risk

The ability to survey from a drone platform increases safety and reduces risk by using a non contact method of assessing site change, taking measurements and volumetric calculations.

Multiple Output Options

Our outputs are specifically tailored to your needs and can range from traditional 3D CAD drawings to 3D point clouds and photographs. We can also provide regular specific analysis for volumes and measurements.

Sun Hill also provides online Web Services which enable point clouds to be viewed and analysed remotely through a web browser - Learn more

Case Study

Arborfield Cross Relief Road | Berkshire

Sun Hill was tasked to provide progress survey data from drones for large construction sites including new build highways and landfill site remediation.

This required utilising our team of drone and survey professionals to capture drone images to generate a point cloud model over several site visits. Each visit can be compared to establish the degree of progress made on site and accurate measurements, including volumes, can be assessed.

Utilising this method, large sites can easily be modelled and assessed from a desktop. Accurate measurements can be made to ensure that subcontract work and billing is accurate. This proves to be a quick and effective way of monitoring progress with greater accuracy than traditional methods.
