Traffic Flow Analysis

By capturing video of the flow of traffic further analysis into the traffic behaviour can be made. Comparisons of traffic flow at different times of day and how traffic flow has changed over time can also be made by undertaking repeat traffic monitoring surveys.

Sun Hill was tasked to prepare a visual survey of the flow of traffic entering and leaving highways junctions using a drone for an aerial perspective.

Our team of drone professionals utilised multiple lightweight drones for ease of access to take a series of one hour videos of live traffic conditions.

Repeating the process at different locations and times enabled the client to build up a comprehensive picture of how much traffic is present and also how it flows through the junctions.
